Why ShopHelpy exists
Most product pages are not badly designed. They are badly described.
ShopHelpy.com — also written Shop Helpy — is an AI store page checker and copywriting toolkit for people who sell online. This page explains what it does, what it deliberately does not do, and who built it.
The problem it solves
Someone selling online has to be a photographer, a marketer and a copywriter on top of actually making or sourcing the thing they sell. Writing is usually the part that gets rushed, so pages end up with four sentences of atmosphere and no mention of the material, the size or what happens if it arrives broken. Those are the things that decide whether someone buys.
ShopHelpy does two jobs. It reads a page the way a first-time visitor does and tells you exactly what is missing, then writes the replacement copy from facts you supply.
How it works, honestly
When you paste a link, our server fetches that page and reads its text, headings, title tag, meta description and image alt text. That content goes to a large language model along with instructions written for e-commerce, and the model returns a score and a list of findings. The writing tools work the same way: a short form, one model call, a structured result.
We do not have a proprietary model, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. What we have is careful prompting, output that arrives structured instead of as a wall of text, and a hard rule that the model may only use facts you provide — it is told never to invent certifications, awards, statistics or guarantees.
What it will not do
- It cannot see your traffic, your conversion rate, or how you compare with competitors. It reads one page.
- It cannot read content that loads after the fact with JavaScript, which some themes use for reviews and descriptions.
- It does not publish anything or connect to your store. You copy what you want and paste it yourself.
- It is a drafting aid. Everything it writes is a draft, and you are responsible for what you publish.
