Why it exists
Ad platforms reject or silently truncate copy that runs long, and the limits differ between them. Writing to the limit up front avoids rewriting everything inside the ad manager.
What you give it
- What you are advertising
- Selling points — One per line. The strongest one first — it usually becomes the best headline.
- Where the ad runs
- Who you are targeting — Optional, but it sharpens the headlines a lot.
What comes back
- Headlines — counted against 40 characters
- Primary text — counted against 125 characters
- Descriptions — counted against 90 characters
Questions
Which platforms does it cover?
You choose where the ad runs, and the copy is written to that platform's limits — Facebook and Instagram, Google Ads, and TikTok among them.
Will it make claims I cannot back up?
It is instructed never to invent statistics, guarantees or health claims. Advertising platforms enforce their own policies on top of that, so check the copy against the rules of wherever you are running it.
Can I get variations to test?
Ten headlines come back per run, which is enough to build a test set. Run it again with different selling points to widen the pool.
