Does it check whether the domain is free?

No. It generates and explains name ideas; it does not check domain availability or trademark registers. Check both before you commit to a name.

Can I make it keep a specific word?

Yes. There is a must-include field, so if the name has to contain your surname, your town or your product category, it will be built around it.

Can I run it more than once?

Yes. A subscription does not cap the number of runs, so it is normal to run it a few times with different style settings before settling.
